THE FUTURE OF GOLF IS TRAINING
GET WITH THE PROGRAM
Getting better at golf is hard, especially when you don't know exactly what to do. We get it. That's why we've taken the guesswork out of better golf.
The answer is training, and training is the primary focus of our Adult Coaching Program.
Training is how the PGA Tour Pros work on their game. They don't work on their swing any more. Not unless it is going to improve their stats. They know that getting incrementally better at a few key stats will give them a competitive edge.
But the Tour Pros have a huge advantage: they have ShotLink tracking every drive, every iron, every wedge, and every putt. They know to the nth degree how far they hit every club, how many fairways they hit, their greens in regulation, what their miss tendencies are, their scrambling percentages, and how many putts they make down to the foot.
How To Get the Same Advantage as the Tour Pros
So how do amateurs get the stats they need?
Our research has shown that certain shots have similar characteristics. Take a look at the Yardage Chart below. This chart shows the grouping of 10 shots with every club in the bag.
Note in particular the shape of the ovals and how they reveal tendencies.
For example, the scoring wedge ovals are largely horizontal. Horizontal ovals tell us that there is a bigger dispersion from short-to-long than there is side-to-side.
Now look at the 3-wood grouping and the red dots. It is easy to see that the dispersion is far greater side-to-side than it is short-to-long.
What this means is - NOT ALL SHOTS ARE CREATED EQUAL
With long approach shots or a driver the premium is on directional accuracy.
With scoring wedges the premium is on distance control.
Knowing the characteristics of shots allows us to look at the game in Zones.
Breaking the game down into Zones allows us to be much more efficient with our sessions.
Understanding shot characteristics from zone to zone is how we developed the Coach's Scorecard. The only place you can get it is in this program.
The first step in getting better is a Game Assessment. It takes a couple of hours, but we look at every part of your game.
Once we know your performance stats we set some goals, such as the scores you want to shoot, or the index you want to reach, and the skills you need to develop or refine.
Then we develop a specific improvement plan, which is what you focus on in coaching sessions. The process looks like this:
Knowing your performance stats on Zone shots is how we can guarantee you'll shoot lower scores. Small, incremental improvements in Fairways hit, greens in regulation, scrambling, lag putting and scoring putts will yield a big payoff.
That's why it is a 3-month program.
Get in. Get started. Train consistency.
You
will see results.
You'll even have fun doing it.
